I am trying to see if, when using the Defer YouTube module, there is a way to customize the embedding code. For instance, when normally using iFrame embed, you can edit the code to add/remove features for the video, like fullscreen, autoplay, loop, nosound, etc. Additionally, when I am trying to implement specifically is the modestbranding=1&showinfo=0&fs=0 code to remove the YouTube branding.

Is this possible somewhere, somehow? And if so, could you detail how this can be acheived? If not, is this a feature that could somehow be added? I think it would be a nice option to have access to.

Thank you for any help or assistance you can provide.

We have released an update with these options.

You can find it under a new tab called “defer youtube videos” in Nitro settings.

Please note, YouTube have deprecated showinfo so we cannot do that one

Please update to version 3.3 and let me know

Am I correct in seeing that these options are a Global setting? Would there be a way to implement the options within the Module itself to allow for modifying settings, and have control over individual videos rather than all videos using the Defer YouTube module?

Not the way it is set up – it uses one piece of code to defer all so needs to be global – sorry.

I can try look at the other way but this will take some time to re-code the whole thing
