    I use BodyCommerce to get a much better checkout page for woo commerce.
    Now I would prefer not to see the big Croupon Code ‘banner’ in all steps of the Multi-Step Checkout.
    Only apply it once in at the step of the Product Overview is enough.

    Is this possible?

    Or otherwise: can I give the ‘banner’ a less dominant place in the layout?

    regards
    Roelof

    Hey Roelof.

    You can move the coupon section to after the checkout using the php code below. Add this to your functions.php file in your child theme

     remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_checkout_form', 'woocommerce_checkout_coupon_form');
    add_action( 'woocommerce_after_checkout_form', 'woocommerce_checkout_coupon_form' );

    You could try moving it to the review order section but not sure if it will work – might need to do some more customisation work – try this:

     remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_checkout_form', 'woocommerce_checkout_coupon_form');
    add_action( 'woocommerce_review_order_before_payment', 'woocommerce_checkout_coupon_form' );

    Hi, I tried the PHP code in my child function.php, but it does nothing.
    I looked a similar snippets of code on google, but non seems to work.
    I am not very familiar with hooks, action, etc.

    do you know where to start solving this?

    your type of code is suggested at more places on the web. so i guess the mistake is at my side.
    can I try it in a WC php file? (risking to loose it after an update)

    (just to be sure: i need to place it between <?php … ?>, or not?)

    Yes you need to do that. Can you email @diviengine.com">support@diviengine.com your functions.php file and I will take a look for you there 😀
