I’ve been using this plugin locally (albeit briefly) – but thought it was time to put it on the sever in preparation for the client to view.

Basic WP install was fine, everything working as expected. Uploaded DBC – Activate – Site pages no longer show. Instead I get the message.

The site is experiencing technical difficulties?

Disabled all plugins – each time I activate DBC – same trouble.
    Changed Theme – same trouble.
Divi support check – everything OK and optimal.

It could be a number of things.

Can you first check if you have WooCommerce installed on your website?

Make sure that your website server has at least these system requirements:

    File Permissions 755
    PHP version 7.0 or 7.2
    Memory_Limit 640M
    Post_Max_Size 64M
    Max_Execution_Time 300
    Upload_Max_Filesize 64M
    Max_Input_Time 300
    Max_Input_Vars 3000

    Let me know

I am experiencing the same issue with BodyCommerce. I just started using Divi Engine’s BodyCommerce for a new Divi + WooCommerce shop for my client’s website. I’m working on a demo page for the client’s feedback, but after publishing and saving the page, I keep getting the error “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.” Here is the site’s System Status report from Divi’s Support Center in the admin:

File Permissions — Writable wp-content Directory (assuming 755)
    PHP version 7.2
    Memory_Limit 256M
    Post_Max_Size 100M
    Max_Execution_Time 300
    Upload_Max_Filesize 100M
    Max_Input_Time 60 (should be at least 180?)
    Max_Input_Vars 1000

Note: The site is running on GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting so modifying Memory_Limit and Max_Input_Time from above may be restricted.

A second question about the .PL Add to Cart – Product Page/Loop Layout module – How can I disable the variable attributes from showing on Simple Product Button? The “color” and “Size” attributes may work for some clothing items, but not needed for books and CDs/DVDs.

Any solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Chad,

The issue above was because WooCommerce was not active so was not server related.

Can you email @diviengine.com">support@diviengine.com with this and we can help you – im thinking it is either the same issue as above or memory limit (you can edit this in wp_config file so can definitely do this on your server.

ATC – this should be there. Why are you using a variable product if you do not need this functionality? Use a simple product and it will not be there

Thanks for the prompt reply! To modify PHP settings, I believe GD MWP actually uses a user.ini file. I’ll see if I can modify some settings or contact my GoDaddy Pro rep for assistance.
